Este remix es también un tributo a al Día de la Afrocolombianidad, celebrado el dia de ayer 21 de Mayo en el que se celebra la conmemoracion de la abolicion de la esclavitud en Colombia. Esta fue una de las canciones que escuchamos en nuestro reciente viaje por Cartagena, Colombia, una de muchas champetas que escuchamos por ahi. La champeta es un híbrido musical que tiene elementos claros de los ritmos africanos, antillanos y algunos signos del folclor afrocolombiano, quizás los más perceptibles al oído y a la vista sean el bullerengue, mapalé, zambapalo y chalupa. This remix is also a tribute to the Afocolombianidad Day celebrated yesterday comemorating the date slavery was abolished in Colombia. This was one of the songs we listened in our recent trip to Cartagena, Colombia, one of many champetas we heard around. Champeta is a musical hybrid with african, antillean riddims and afrocolombian folclor.
