Presented by Paranoid Pictures, "Exit Through the Gift Shop", supposedly a Banksy's film, is about to stencil the screens of the UK cinemas on March 5th. According to the street artists himself, this film "it's the story of how one man set out to film the un-filmable and failed." The film tells the story of an eccentric shop-keeper-turned-documentary-maker who attempts to locate and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on him. Music by Geoff Barrow, with additional original music by Roni Size. - Presentada por Paranoid Pictures, "Exit Through the Gift Shop", la supuesta película de Banksy, está a punto de darle un estencilazo a las pantallas de los cines en el Reino Unido este próximo 5 de Marzo. De acuerdo al mismísimo artista de la calle, esta película "es la historia de un tipo que se propuso a filmar lo que no se puede filmar y falló". La película cuenta la historia de un exéntrico tipo encargado de una tienda que se vuelve director de documentales para tratar de ubicar y hacerse amigo de Banksy, todo para que el artista hiciera que la cámara regresara hacía director. Musica por Geoff Barrow, además de música original de Roni Size.
Next Saturday you will have the chance to watch Old Man Bebo, a documentary film on one of the greatest legends in Cuban music Bebo Valdes. Directed by Carlos Carcas and produced by Fernando Trueba and Angelica Huete, the film narrates the life of this living legend since his beginning in Cuba until the international success he has achieved.

This is one of my favorite movies and directors at the moment. Ramin Bahrani's first film is, Man Push Cart, which I also love. To say a couple of words about his films they are simple, urban, humanistic, and full of struggle and survival. Currently, Chop Shop is screening at the New York International Latino Film Festival.

Funky Forest is playing at the Imaginasian theater in NY from March 7 - 13, 2008. The DVD will hit the stores on March 18.
