Around 7 years ago we discovered la Chicha and we keep including this Peruvian genre in our sets. Barbes Records recently released The Roots of Chicha 2, the second volume which focuses more in the urban aspect of the music than the amazonian part as the first volume was. The album features more underground bands, but still with crazy names like in the first one. Check out this tune, it's mad. Hace unos 7 años descubrimos lo que era la Chicha y seguimos incluyendo este género del Perú en nuestros sets. Barbes Records lanzó recientemente The Rots of Chicha 2, el segundo volumen que se enfoca más en el aspecto urbano que amazónico como lo fue el primero. En el album hay bandas más under aunque con nombres igual de locos que el primero. Chequen esta rolita, esta chingona.
