BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER
Bra Boys reflects the extreme culture of the beachside suburb of Maroubra and its surf community called Bra Boys. The film is directed by Sunny Abberton and focus on the true-life story of the Abberton brothers, Sunny, Jai, Dakota and pro-surfer and big-wave master Koby. La semana pasada tomé una ruta diferente en el metro y baje la 42st (times square) y me lleve una grata sorpresa por que me encontre esta tienda que al parecer es relativamente nueva, venden peliculas, cd's, y demas cosas que suelen encontrarse en una tienda que esta en una estacion del metro, pero lo particular de esta es que tiene una gran selección de Viniles Salseros (de entrada muchos de la Fania).
de ahora en adelante la 42st es una parada obligada!
Last week i took a different route than usual on my way on the subway and went down on the 42 st (times square), there i was surprised when i found this nes store that as any store in the subway sells dvd's and cd's , but they also have this great Salsa Vinyl selection (a lot of la Fania).
from now on 42st is an obligated stop!

Doing some research for the movie we're making I found this masterpiece of the inmigrant talent to mislead the border patrol.. yeah!!

Painter, Alice Neel
One of my favorite painters and movies to date is, "Alice Neel" Check out the films website(www.aliceneelfilm.com) for screenings and images of her work. Besides being a great painter, Neel represented Harlem.(Just like L.F.D) She left the popluar Greenwich Village scene in 1938 for Spanish Harlem where she painted her neighbor's.
